Refunds

Client Rights and Responsibilities

All services are paid for at the time of the booking. Refunds are handled based on scheduling. Refunds are issued (only/ if ) the client cancels the appointment with a "24" hour notice, prior to the appointment date and time. That does mean to the exact minute. We do understand that life happens and there is a need to adjust. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, we will accommodate the schedule change. If you elect the option to reschedule, you will no longer be eligible for a refund. Please see client rights and responsibilities for more information about rescheduling appointments.  If you are eligible for a refund, funds are released immediately. Please note that it can take 1-5 business days for the funds to show in your account.

  1. As the client you have the right to refuse services.

  2. You have the right to have a risk free, friendly, cruelty-free, and relaxing experience.

  3. You as the client have the right to be surprise- free and made aware of service cost and fees prior to and during purchase.

  4. You as the client have the right to withdraw from services at any time during the service process.

  5. You as the client have the right to be treated with respect and dignity, to feel safe, and supported during your entire process.

Client Responsibility

  1. You as the client are responsible to properly communicate with your therapist about your needs. 

  2. You as the client have the responsibility to treat the staff in a manner that represent respect, and dignity.

  3. You as the client are responsible to presenting for services in a timely fashion. 

  4. You as the client are responsible for reading all rights and responsibilities to attend services. 

  5. It is expected that client's are practicing good hygiene and have showered prior to a body massage.

  6. You as the client are responsible for ensuring that you are free of communicable viruses and diseases. 

  7. Client is responsible for printing Intake and completing forms prior to session.

Additonal Information (FAQ'S)

What if I have a skin condition?

If the client has a known contagious skin condition, massage therapy is contraindicated, due to possible further spread of the infection and risking the health of the therapist. Spreading a skin condition could be as mild as acne, or as severe as a fungal infection or viral like herpes.

Can I receive a massage while pregnant?

Yes, however the client must be at 13 weeks gestation and not before. Massage helps to stimulate soft tissues to reduce the collection of fluids in swollen joints.

Can Massage Therapy reduce stress?

Massage Therapy reduces stress hormones such as cortisol by as much as 40% in 1 session.

Should I wash before my massage?

Yes, you should wash before and after a massage. It's important to wash every major body part with soap, which will help to eliminate dirt, oil, and various skin bacteria.

Is it important to fill out my pre-massage intake form?

Yes, but filling out your intake prior to session, your massage therapist can focus more time on the massage but being able to readily read and address your written concerns.

Can I transfer my appointment to another person?

No, transfer are not permitted and each client must book their own individual session. 

Can I change the services I want at the appointment?

No, services are paid for at the purchase date. We are unable to accommodate rapid changes at this time. The services that you pick will be the same service you receive for the appointment date and time.
